Great location (near the main bus station and close to the old harbor), area not noisy. The room and bathroom were small but had everything we needed and they were very clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast plentiful and with lots of choices. Wi-fi in the lobby of the hotel.
Paperthin walls, no wi-fi in the rooms.
Clean, good location, all correct
Breakfast could be better, only correct for this price
The best of all is the staff, excellent and friendly behaviour
Excellent place to start visit of Chania (just 5 minutes walk to the center). Bus station nearby. There's not private parking but we had absolutely no problems to park just outside the hotel in 2 weeks!!! Staff very kind: we had a couple of problems that they resolved in a flash, making our stay wonderful.
Breakfast is a bit poor but of good quality. There's a supermarket nearby the hotel to buy some fruits. Rooms on the backside are double bed but are smaller, bad furnished and with a worst sight than that on frontside (unfortunately twin beds rooms).
This hotel location is very centrally and very near to buss station and beach the city center. Its service as good and room was very confortable. Its breakfast was good. I thank you and this hotel owners.
The hotel is located just outside the old town, 10 mins by foot to the old port and 20 mins to the beach. Good position if you have a car, easy to find a parking place. Room clean and confortable.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Superb breakfast. Nice location near the Old Town, but also near many major shops in the new town.
Our room was a bit dark, since only one balkony door existed and no windows. The air condition was placed above the bed and was impossible to direct it away from us.
The location of the hotel, adjacent to the bus station, made it perfect as a stopping off point on our journey. It is also only a short walk from the old town with its shops and harbour. The hotel is smart, modern and clean. The breakfast was nice and the staff were very helpful.
This hotel is next to the bus station, which is what we wanted, and therefore very convenient for travel. However, it is also a short walk from the tourist centre and port. The hotel is clean and provides a good breakfast.
I have stayed many times at the Nefeli and have always been very satisfied. The renovated rooms are simple but have everything you need (air conditioning maybe not as efficient as wished!) including flat screen tv, hairdryer, bathroom cosmetics and fridge/mini-bar. The bathrooms are also simple but very adequate. Everything is spotless. Bedding and bathroom towels are changed daily. Breakfast is good and offers a more than adequate choice. The staff are all charming and very helpful. The position of the hotel is ideal for strolling into Chania old town - about 8mins to Venetian Harbour. There can be some traffic noise - rooms on the inside of the hotel are better in this respect. I can only recommend Nefeli - and hope to visit again soon!
Central location makes it an excellent base for bus travel and an easy walk to the old town and harbour.
Hotel is on great location in a centre of Chania near historical locations, shops and restaurants. Sandy beach is 15 min walk away. Free parking was possible in the front of hotel. We had double bedroom at 6th floor with a spacious terrace overlooking city, definitely to recommend. Both room and bathroom were very clean, towels were changed every day, and hotel staff made sure that everything worked right and that we felt welcome and satisfied. Breakfast was fine offering yogurt, cereals, cheese, ham, different types of eggs, croissants, toast, cakes, fruits. Free wi fi was provided within hotel and safe deposit box is near reception for a small charge.
Excellent location. Near to the city center and the old port! Excellent staff - they where very friendly and they tried to make our stay very pleasant.
staff was very helpful
it was raining, didnt want to stay in
The location is certainly the best thing that this hotel has, because you can go walking to the city center in just 5 min., or take a bus in the main bus station just on the other side of the street. The staff seemed to be really frendly, although we´ve only speaked with them three times, and the breakfast is good too. In general, it is a nice place to stay if you´re visiting Chania.
